Brooks England Mercer Tote bag- Blue
The classic tote bag was designed to transport ice cubes, and won the 1940s fitting by boaters and beach lovers who needed something easier and more flexible for their travel bags than a suitcase. Brooks Mercer takes tradition to hard-wearing, urban use. This is one of very few technical, waterproof tote bakers in the market with shoulder strap, side pockets and laptop pocket.
The main compartment is provided with a padded pocket for laptop up to 15 ", a medium-sized pocket with zipper and four small pocket pockets. The bag can be closed with a waterproof zipper and expandable to accommodate even more. On the outside, Crosby is a big side pocket with magnetic lock, while the back has two large open pockets. The bag is lined with light yellow quilt so that even the smallest memory stick is easy to spot.
The fabric is a waterproof, durable and technical blend of canvas and natural rubber that perfectly matches the Brooks Cambium bicycle seat. As with Brooks Barbican and Paddington, the fabric is very thick and tightly woven so that the bag holds the shape and does not become laundering and floppy.
This bag is part of Brook's new Metropolitan collection, a more technical and modernistic range of dredges that perfectly match the Brooks Cambium bike seat. Brooks Metropolitan dredges are made of a very technical rubbery fabric that keeps the water out, ensures durability and makes the bag easy to keep clean. All nails and buckles have the same design as the Cambium seats, and the carrying handles are lined with the same vulcanized natural rubber
